For example: * What is the code in helloworld.cc ? * Why is the "-s" option being used ? * Does the problem still occur if "-s" is not used ? * Similarly, does omitting "-flto" make the linking work ? It would help if you could upload the compiled form of helloworld.cc (ie helloworld.o). I did try to reproduce the problem myself, but the link worked.
