A much simpler and perhaps more fair change would have been to exclude pdp11 from the test. It's not really important that this test works for pdp11; I just wanted to fix all the unexpected failures for pdp11 and this test required a more significant fix than the others. What sort of infrastructure do you have for testing all targets? Perhaps I can replicate that? Sorry for imposing the extra work on you for the fixups you did. You should have simply replied that my change did not work for the new list of targets and I would have looked for a different solution. You could close this now or you could revert the commit and hand the problem back to me. I would then look for another solution, which might end up just being the exclusion of pdp11.
