I think I have hit this issue.
I have two binaries and addr2line works just fine. After running
dwz -m build/release/common.debug build/release/scylla build/release/iotune
addr2line starts printing a lot of errors:
addr2line: DWARF error: offset (402709060) greater than or equal to .debug_str
size (19943234)
addr2line: DWARF error: offset (1033709879) greater than or equal to .debug_str
size (17274923)
addr2line: DWARF error: could not find abbrev number 139
