So it was broken in 2.31.1 but it is fixed in 2.32.2, right ?
Plus we are about to make a 2.33 release. So it seems to me that this is
not really a very important bug to worry about. If you do narrow down a
commit that fixes the problem and want it applied to the 2.31 branch then
I can do that, but I am not going to do any more than that. Sorry.
