It does seem to me that the patch does not actually do very much, other than setting values for SEPARATE_GOTPLT in the linker emulation parameter files, and then adjusting the linker tests to match. Is this correct, or should there be more to the patch ? [I am not complaining, just asking...] Also, with the patch applied I am seeing three new linker testsuite failures for a toolchain configured as: --target=s390x-ibm-tpf This strikes me as a little odd, as I thought that the tpf configuration was basically the same as ordinary elf. Anyway, please could you investigate and fix the patch as necessary ?
