gcc (Ubuntu 4.8.4-2ubuntu1~14.04.4) 4.8.4 on Kubuntu 14.04.5 LTS

I chaged the Makefile like this:
CFLAGS_FOR_BUILD = -g -O2 -fsanitize=address
CXXFLAGS_FOR_BUILD = -g -O2 -fsanitize=address
recompled and tried with a few samples.
The crashes still occurr.
