Hi Alan,Really (I know I had it doing it :-) but I made mistake in my copying from one screen to another. The configure is --with-sysroot not --sysroot.Here is the exact command I used to configure it:../binutils-2.22/configure --prefix=/usr --enable-shared --with-sysroot=That is the exact command I was using (I double-checked my script -- and playing with it now, the = is optional).Sorry for the confusion, my fault of course -- I blame lack of caffeine and sleep trouble-shooting this bug :-).Added the list back to the CC chain so all can witness my mistake -- uh, see the correction ;-). - Simon.
