Hi Prashant,
gcc -W -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Werror -g -O2 -o
ld-new ldgram.o ldlex.o lexsup.o ldlang.o mri.o ldctor.o ldmain.o ldwrite.o
ldexp.o ldemul.o ldver.o ldmisc.o ldfile.o ldcref.o eelf32my_target.o
../bfd/libbfd.la ../libiberty/libiberty.a -lz
../bfd/libbfd.la: file not recognized: File format not recognized
This is very strange. I have not seen it before. Could you try doing a
clean and then a rebuild to see if it is not some funny glitch with the
filesystem ?
If the problem persists, then please can you find out some more
information about this libbfd.la file. How big is it ? Is a valid
archive ? What is the format of the files inside the archive ? Were
there any errors building it ?
Cheers
Nick
