OK, I have uploaded a revised patch based Jay's suggestion. Please give it a go and let me know if it works this time. I am not comfortable with suppressing the overflow warnings for the other relocations however. The checks are correct and those relocs are being processed in the way that ARM specifies. I think that it would be better to find out exactly why the overflows are occurring an then determine if the IAR compiler is at fault or if there is some kind of gcc specific assumption in the linker. Would it be possible for you to post a simple IAR compiled object file that generates these overflowing relocs ?
