Without a way to reproduce this bug ourselves it is going to be impossible to debug it. Are you sure that you cannot create a cut-down test case that you can send in ? In the meantime you might like to try the workaround patch that I have uploaded. It should stop the seg-fault occurring where it does, but I expect that another one will happen somewhere else. Without knowing the cause of the problem, we cannot generate a proper fix.
