Hi Jakub,
I agree with your first suggested patch, so I am going to apply the uploaded
version of it.
I am not sure about the second change (to bfd_close). I agree that it looks
good, but I have a nagging suspicion that there might be a case where it is
wrong. Since it is not needed to fix the bug, I am going to omit it.
