The only reason I was interested in this was as a way to save a few bytes when
my bootloader was misbehaving. I have fixed my bootloader so I have no interest
in trying to chase this any further.
Since I seem to be the only one that can reproduce this and I can't spend any
more time isolating it, I recommend we close this bug.
I'm setting the status to Resolved, WONTFIX. Stu Bell
