Hi Mark,
GAS does not accept "ep9312" as an architecture name. It only accepts it as a
cpu name. This is because strictly speaking the EP9312 is not a new arm
architecture, but rather a standard architecture with an extra, co-processor
attached.
Please try configuring your build with "--with-cpu=ep9312". This should work.
