Attempting to build the current Glibc snapshot on a Sparc64 system. Receive the
following error.

/mnt/netra/cross-tools/bin/../lib/gcc/sparc64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.0.2/../../../../sparc64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/ld:
/mnt/netra/build/glibc-cross-64bit/libc_pic.os: check_relocs: unhandled reloc
type 67
/mnt/netra/build/glibc-cross-64bit/libc_pic.os: could not read symbols: File
format not recognized
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Able to reproduce with one file, files is to big to attach.
http://ftp.jg555.com/libc_pic.os.bz2

Steps to get the error create a sparc64 binutils, run the following command
sparc64-unknown-linux-gnu-ld libc_pic.os

You will get the following error
sparc64-unknown-linux-gnu-ld: libc_pic.os: check_relocs: unhandled reloc type 67
libc_pic.os: could not read symbols: File format not recognized
