Not exactly, when I tested Ctrl + R then Ctrl + C I was also pressing a lot of 
other keys to try to crash it.
But yes, my keyboard is doing what you said. (Auto sending ESC key)
I do this because I want Ctrl + C to act as ESC at all times across all 
applications.
(Since I don’t like to press the ESC key. I type in Dvorak, ESC key is too far 
away in my context.)
