This doesn't make much sense unless every other program is built the same way. (A stark counterexample is Emacs.) IOW, that wouldn't increase the "build toolset" much because there probably be lots of other software that needs to be installed on the same machine, and some of them will *do so* (as in "Not *doing so* is deliberate in some cases"). > ... including people who are writing code patches rather > than documentation ...
