Right, I think either would be good.
You didn't seem to have replied on that code snippet I provided before.
I assume, that inconsistency in BASH_SUBSHELL inside {...} invoked
directly and invoked inside EXIT trap, should be fixed one way or
another.
I don't mean to be picking on these corner cases but I'm of curious mind
and thought I should raise it, when stumbled across. If nothing else,
somebody might find this thread useful while searching for answers.
Having said that, I think this concludes it from my side. Thank you for
your time and clarifications, it helped me understand some nuances of
Bash as well as other Bourne shells.
