I have to tell you, helping out Wikipedia's dysfunctional internal politics is nowhere on my priority list. However, the ChangeLog in 1.05 is accurate, as are the usenet postings containing the comments about exported functions: the feature went into bash in early August 1989 and was first released as part of bash-1.03.
