Machine Type: i486-pc-linux-gnu

Bash Version: 3.2
Patch Level: 39
Release Status: release

Description:
    Command prompt disappears when working directory is one whose name ends
in a '\' (backslash)
Repeat-By:
    Running the following command:
        mkdir ./asdf\\ && cd ./asdf\\
Fix:
    Probably has something to do with the way things are escaped in the
default $PS1.
    Mine is '${debian_chroot:+($debian_chroot)[EMAIL PROTECTED]:\w\$' (without
quotes),
and I haven't changed it, so I assume its the default.
