Description:

Hi,
after building the bash on my z/OS System I executed the test suite. The suite
executed smoothly. When I start the bash for testing purposes after the build I
cannot type anything, but only special characters like '.'',''!', and so on.

I guess this problem is due to EBCDIC/ASCII conversion. Is there any
possibility to solve the conversion problems in a normal bash installation, or
do I have to write conversions into the code by hand?

Thanks,
Jan
