After running /configure --exec-prefix=/bin (also tried --prefix=/bin), make succeeds, but sudo make install fails:

Notice how it is sticking an extra "/bin/" in there (third and fourth lines down). Does this appear to be a bug? I've read everything I can think of in your docs, and also checked the web - appears not too many people have considered upgrading their shell.
