Bash Version: 3.1
Patch Level: 0
Release Status: release

Description:
Let expression parsing appears to be broken in bash 3.1. When
using a simple expression such as let a=(5+3) I get this error:
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('
This worked in bash 3.0 and there wasn't anything in the changes that is
related to basic parsing like this.

Repeat-By:
Use typical let statement such as let a=(5+3).
