FYI, Peter just reported a similar (I think the same but haven't checked) issue with 1.11.1. This test failure is no big problem for your Automake; but it might point to a bug in Autoconf: <http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.sysutils.autoconf.bugs/7085> Cheers, Ralf
