Oh, gee, at least mine do appear to be the same.  Well, on the bottom of the
machine, I appear to have the first six digits, then the entire number
appears to be in the machine when I do the space with i.

Yes, serial numbers.  I have found there is some confusion as to which
number one ought to quote when asked for this number.  I find that the
number on the under-side of my PK, which I had been told was the serial
number, was totally different from that quoted in the "information" menu
obtained by pressing space with the letter i.  On contacting the Firm I was
told that the number within the machine was the authentic number.  What the
other number is: nobody seemed to know.  I know it doesn't really matter,
providing we all know where to find the correct number.  I still consider
myself extremely fortunate to have one of these little marvels under my
hand.
