It is possible to crash BrailleNote running KeySoft v5.1 by simply
pressing the next appointment combination (Function+N on qwerty models) or
by choosing "Next appointment" from options menu if - and only if - free
appointments are scheduled.
Try it - with a clean planner, plan one or more things which should be
pretty simple, your birthday, or the time you take your tablets each day
or something, and add the appropriate recurrence and description if any.
Set this to free, because you aren't "Busy", as such; when you press the
Next Appointment keystroke, BrailleNote should inform you that you have no
future appointment scheduled, since you theoretically haven't got any
commitment at that time (the time you allocated is, by the nature of the
option you selected for "scheduled as", free). Instead, BrailleNote now
freezes, saying nothing, necessitating the pressing of reset.
Needless to say, I discovered this when I first began to make use of what
is arguably a very decent BrailleNote addition - a good and working
planner.
I must say, as an unqualified software developer, and I've no idea whether
this will improve with your new staff, but this is the sort of bug which I
should have imagined would be one of the very first to be caught by any
half-decent testcase you develop to test your new software.
