Richard:
The keylist issue is beyond me. I may be able to help with the
playlisting, or maybe I will just confuse you. We'll see.
First, ensure that each file is on its own line, for example:
/compactflash/my music/album/track 01.mp3
/compactflash/my music/album/track 02.mp3
I have found that sometimes my BN will make all my hard returns
into spaces, and I will have to do a find and replace ("3 /" to
"3 (new line) /").
Also make sure that absolutely everything is typed exactly right;
one missing or extra dot in the file path and the whole playlist
will not work.
Hope that helped,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] playlist trouble and email won't find
things inaddress list
Hi list!
Hope someone can help me out with these two questions.
1 I had to type in the address for the list, because when I typed
the name "bn list" (without the quotes of course,) my keymail
told me it couldn't find it in the address list.
I erased and recopied the keylistddcdb file and still the same
thing.
When I look it up in the address list, it works just fine, gives
me all the stuff.
I wrote it correctly in the email prompt too, so it's not that I
misspelled it.
The other thing is, I tried to create a playlist using one of my
albums that I have stored on a 1 gig cf card. I don't know the
names of all the songs, so the tracks go01-audiotrack01.mp3.
they continue thus through 12, the zero, of course going away
with 10.
But when I tried to play it, I got the message "cannot open 12-
etc. Make sure the path and filename are correct.
The message goes more into it, giving the path with all the
backslashes etc.
The album is all in one place, I didn't put one song in one place
and another in another place, it's all in the same subfolder.
What could be going wrong here?
Richard, hoping for a smart cookie on the list to help him get
all straightened out, because tomorrow my loner classic bn goes
back and I will have only my new but somewhat quirky mPower.
"takes one to know one ha ha.
