I've checked the client I have here and it seems like that might be ok.
So the expired certificate must be elsewhere and hard to find?
$ openssl verify -CAfile /usr/share/blink/tls/ca.crt \
/usr/share/blink/tls/default.crt
/usr/share/blink/tls/default.crt: OK
That's with Blink 5.1.7focal
