Have you got zombie finger? If yes, correct that problem first. That should make the game easier to play. I had problems with idle iktah earlier too and my skin was too dry to conduct electricity properly. Maybe use moisturizer on your fingers and let it dry and try again. Another possibility may be cold hands which means blood flow is too low to conduct electricity.
