Hi,

if u need ifconfig, u can build net-tools-1.60, instructions found in
the blfs book. build it, but not do 'make install'. then copy the binary
'ifconfig' manually to /usr/bin or /usr/sbin.

if u want to, u can install all the tools, but it doesn't seem to be
necessary.

this worked for me fine, i needed it for hamachi and had no problems by
this way.

LK> So how do I use ip for an irlan connection?

LK> And I could also use some advice for what to do on the Win95 side?

LK> Oh, and do I need to enable some sharing or something to transfer files?
