The joys of using a prepared snapshot and then moving to newer autofoo! In cairo, confgiure seemed to run ok (I got the information about the backends, functions, features and internal features), but then it decided to error:
build/configure.ac.system:114: the top level configure.ac:17: error: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.16.2, configure.ac:17: but the definition used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE configure.ac:17: comes from Automake 1.16.1. You should recreate configure.ac:17: aclocal.m4 with aclocal and run automake again. I added 'autoreconf -fiv' and the build completed. I guess I'm the first person to build cairo with automake-1.16.2 (it went into LFS on 1st April). Will fix the book later, stil lbuilding the new system. ĸen -- The beauty of reading a page of de Selby is that it leads one inescapably to the conclusion that one is not, of all nincompoops, the greatest. -- du Garbandier -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
