Hi all
Just wanted to let you know that thunderbird seems not to build out of
the box with rustc 1.35.0. I'm currently looking for solutions/patches,
seems that ubuntu has something. If anybody has seen a patch regarding
"fix-missing-docs-error", I'd welcome any pointers, of course.
The errors I get are:
39:03.01 error: missing documentation for macro
39:03.01 --> servo/components/style_traits/values.rs:139:1
39:03.01 |
39:03.01 139 | macro_rules! serialize_function {

Hi Tim,
Did you try the rust fix patch that Ken had implemented for 60.7.2? I think
that fixes something with this, but I'm not 100% certain.
Indeed, it was for a similar problem (and I think the patch from
Arch has the same content). Originally from Fedora. Ah! They've
updated it a few hours ago.
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/thunderbird/raw/149d30b308a8e46ce895a4791d496dc33518cd70/f/rust-1.33-build.patch
Not quite sure what changed (Fedora is very hard to access/read
these days), but if the sed works then all is well.
The arch patch does not work for 60.8.0 and rustc 1.35.0
The sed plus my second sed however seem to do the job, still compiling,
but I think I already got past the rust part without errors.
Will report at the end of the compile.
Bye
Tim
