True.  In this week's lwn.net the link to reproduceable builds
mentions rustc.

In case that comment was too terse - rustc continues to produce
unreproduceable builds.

My guess, rustc unique builds is a feature by design...
(:-1/2} it is not a bug, it is a feature)
as long you MUST use the last update from the net and you have no
decision control (as packager), you can't work in a
"sterile condition", such your package result will be "random".
