I've just ripped a short part of a DVD to mp4 (tccat, then ffmpeg)
on my 8.3-rc system, and that looks fine. So do the other mp4,
mov, mkv I've looked at. The only real difference is that the
problem was on an intel with its default graphics, today's good
results are on AMD with an old Radeon graphics card.
Odd, but current build seems fine so No Further Action.
