I've now finished all my still-maintained old systems. Back on one
of my latest (nominally 10th June and gcc-5.1) I've now spent about
an hour and a half in firefox - at one point I revisited the site
where ff had kept crashing in LFS-7.5, although not the same topics
(it's a forum) and everything was fine. Quite often I had between
10 and 15 tabs open (did some shopping, searching for phone adaptors
to join my British ('BT' connectors) equipment to a call-blocker I
bought which turns out to be RJ11, and opened several tabs for
possible matches, dealt with that, visited two different forums and
each time selected all the interesting topics before looking at the
individual tabs - and no problems.
That doesn't invalidate Fernando's problem, but for me all is well
at the moment.

This one goes up to eleven: but only on a clear day, with the wind in
the right direction.
