I couldn't test amarok, pulseaudio is needed.
Had to rebuild audacious and plugins for libpulse, but needed first
libcddb, libcdio, libcdio-paranoia. It plays from comand line (first
message expected, as pulseaudio has been removed, seems some audio lib
or plugin still looks for it:

Finally, tried parole, there was a complaint about some plugin missing,
then reinstalled, still plugin missed, then reinstalled gst*1.5.4, then
parole, and it played the cd:
