I think it is intentional, but got them like that, didn't think much.

About Java, but OT:

I am not working at the moment, so I would like to include in this post
that I did a modification in OJDK, with explicit use of pt_BR, as an
example. Tomorrow, I will edit the page to Include this observation in
the text.

One good/bad thing is that I needed to include "í" as a code, because in
my keyboard it is not a character, but the combination `+i, got the
example from Igor in the credits. Isn't this a good time to discuss
again about UTF-8, now that we are doing many modifications in general?

In the same off topic, after this discussion, it might be good to change
may example to French, probably fr_FR, by Pierre, but for now, I would
like to keep in pt_BR, because it demonstrate that necessity for UTF-8
might increase.
