Hello Ontbirds people, The results of the 84th annual Ottawa-Gatineau Christmas Bird Count (conducted on 14 Dec. 2003) were reviewed and finalized on 07 January 2003.
74 species were recorded by 139 field observers and 25 feeder watchers. There were 4 record high counts (Northern Harrier, Wilson's Snipe, Great Black-backed Gull, Dark-eyed Junco). No new species, no real highlights...and we thought the weather was cold back then, one month ago...
