It’s not a question of updating BibDesk, it’s a question of your security settings and digital signatures. BibDesk is not signed (probably because of how much Apple charges for the Developer account that lets you do that), so you have to tell the OS that it’s okay to run it yourself. Right click on the icon and select “Open.” This should get you a dialogue about the App being from an unidentified developer to which you can say “Open anyway.” This decision will be remembered by the system so you can simply double click on the icon in the future. ✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝✝ Fr.
