As for dropbox synced folders between Mac and iPad https://apps.apple.com/us/app/references/id1481843213 <https://apps.apple.com/us/app/references/id1481843213> can extract the linked file urls correctly and this works fine (although you have to reload the bib file used by bibdesk from the iPad app every time you add a paper on the Mac to bibdesk because the App is just a read only viewer that operates on a copy). Anyway I was just curious to know what other bibdesk users do when they want to read papers that add to their bibdesk library on Mac, on an iPad.
