Yes, indeed.. I was commenting on pdsh, but apparently, pdsh is getting changes
to work better with SLURM (or, following the changes in SLURM?) - I didn't dig
into it too much.
I was focusing on getting pdsh and pdcp running on rPi - and it's trivially
easy - since it's in the standard apt-get repos.

While this little project isn't really "cluster computing" in a HPC sense, it
is in the "cluster management" sense - given brand new rPi out of the box, how
do you configure a batch of them in a developmental environment (i.e. it's not
like I have a complete build that works, that I can just make copies of on SD
cards and boot from it).

You develop something, get it working on one node, and then want to roll it to
the other nodes. And that's where pdsh is wonderful (particularly, because the
nodes don't have keyboards, just touch screens)

Slurm is definitely still under active development with a vibrant
community. SchedMD is the one mainly driving its development. In fact
the 20.11 version just came out with some nice new features like
scrontab, which I am super excited for.

(well, aside from the parts that have seen no changes in 10 or 17 years, which
I think is wonderful), but there appears to be some stuff with SLURM that's
seeing activity. (which is interesting, I actually use SLURM at work)
