The idea of a "Chinese Github" interested me so I googled.

Some sort of blog  at Techcrunch

describes Gitee, which I briefly looked at,

Several languages, prominently Java, Javascript, C#, and  Go, are depicted
in a little animation spamming the page, which is mostly in English..
