anyone else receive a request to validate a new password at globus.org?
I received the following text in an email (url obfuscated):
Hello greg matthews,
Please follow this link to enter your new password:
https://www.globus.org/NewPassword?validation_code=<some code here>
All the best,
The Globus Team
the headers show that it was received from:
Received: from unknown (HELO a9-80.smtp-out.amazonses.com) (54.240.9.80)
by
engine19-1277-1.icritical.com (qpsmtpd/0.28) with ESMTP; Tue, 20 May 2014
01:55:46 +0100
which appears to be an Amazon network.
My paranoia is telling me that someone has brute-forced my password and
has attempted to change it...
GREG
