posting. I thought he was asking for a "text" editor,
not a "tex" editor. I apologize for the bogus reply.
Actually, vim with context highlighting works quite well for TeX (caps to
be pedantic^W^Wdifferentiate from "text"). So I see that as a perfectly
reasonable suggestion.
