hi,
My plans for 2009 are very simple: first generate income,
then if there is enough income i build a cluster.
That cluster comes there for sure when there is income.
The question whether there will be any income more than just to pay
my bills...
Probably it is the same thing for most companies.
government organisations work a bit slower. Their budget shrink will
more likely
get into their office on paper around mid 2009, so before that time
maybe they can
still order something.

p.s. the cluster i speak about is a private cluster to keep warm in
during these cold winter days :)

Fellow HPC types:
I have been running a micro-poll over at
Linux Magazine asking about how the
economy has effected your 2009 plans.
It is a single question. So far
we have had 77 respondents. I would like
to hit 100 before the poll goes away at
the end of this week. I will make the
final results public as well.
So what I am saying if you did not take
my little micro-poll yet, click on the link
below and tell us what is going on for you
this year. You get to see the current results
after you answer the question.

Comments are welcome as well.
Thanks.
