Well, there are a dozen other solutions out there. Kerberos is well loved by many people. There are various new EKE-like mechanisms out there that are apparently not patented. There's all sorts of stuff. SecureID was merely something I mentioned as a proof that you don't have to use passwords. -- Perry E.
