According to http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=7458, NEC has announced an 800+ TFLOPS machine, SX-9; it does 100-odd GFLOPS per core (with a new vector processor). Peter P.S. gosh, wouldn't it be cool to have a beowulf of these?! :-)
