Hi,

We have a lot of clusters running with S2882 (centos3, centos4, debian sarge) without random kernel panics. One BIOS option can cause severe problems : PowerNow should be set to disabled.
But this is the default in latest BIOS.

Common problems we got so far on those boards : Power supply too small, ECC Errors, PowerNow enabled = crash. Not really related to the MB...

Maybe you have a batch of NoName RAM ?
