Discussions about real-world use will help users get through
the marketing fluff to find out what is really going on. Not
everyone has a chance to test every single filesystem before
choosing one.

yes, we run on GPFS across all systems at NERSC. That's an SGI,
several Linux boxs (x86_64, ia64, and i386 based), plus AIX 5.2 and
AIX 5.3 systems.
We just don't talk much about it at the moment, since we are busy
busy busy bringing in new iron..
