No. Marketing effort implies coordination, that's why most announcements
are embargoed until official release date. It does not prevent insiders
to know, but they can't tell or they get their butt kicked by their
management.
Good news travels fast and usually companies don't care much for NDA's
Oh yes they do. They sometimes *choose* to not care, but only when they
know that they don't fear litigation.
