Hello Ray, I saw the following post and wondered if you ended up purchasing the DES-5600 and if so if you'd be interesting in selling me a copy of the firmware CD. Believe it or not, even though our DES-5600 is only four years old, not one D-Link web site in any country has it. Calling the company directly didn't get me anywhere either. D-Link [EMAIL PROTECTED] when it comes to support. At least with the DES-5600.

We're considering building a Beowulf of around 128 nodes, using either a FNN (six 64 node neighborhoods via 5600s) or just one switch (the DES 6000).
